Georgia is located at the intersection of Asia and Europe, which is also known as Eurasia. Bordering Russia on one side it was part of the former Soviet Union. It is known for its hospitality, ancient winery’s, cultural traditions, architecture, cobblestone streets and Vardzia – the cave monasteries built in the 12th century.
